ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival 2016. The place to be, bringing ASEAN people together. Boosting trade and economic development. Forging links and building opportunities. All happening in Kuala Lumpur, under one roof for 2 days!
The first of its kind in the region bringing ASEAN people closer together, focused on young entrepreneurs. A place to network, learn, connect and experience the pulse of ASEAN. An event jointly organized by MATRADE (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation), MAAYE (Malaysian Association of ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs) and AYEC (ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council). In collaboration with Ministry of International Trade & Industry, Malaysia (MITI) and supported by ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC)
AYEC 2016 targeted about 300 booths, all 10 ASEAN countries and almost 5,000 visitors.
The hard working committee with about 120 volunteers did their best to accommodate the requirements of exhibitors, attendees and speakers. The success of the first carnival made it the flagship annual event of the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council following the ASEAN hosting.
