AYE CARNIVAL

The ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival is our flagship event held every year, following the ASEAN Chairmanship country. The 1st AYE Carnival was held at MATRADE, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in 2016. It was then officiated as an official ASEAN event in the calendar during the 2nd AYE Carnival by President Duterte which was held in Manila, Philippines, 2017.

The Carnival garners participation from all 10 ASEAN member states (AMS) plus from many other ASEAN plus countries such as Australia, China, India, Japan, Europe and more.

It is the first-of-its-kind with a forum, exposition, awards and more. Some of the key thrusts are elements related to digitalisation, automation, start-up, enhancement of intraASEAN trade, alternative access to finance, sharing of best practices and many more. With the theme changing each year to be present to the times.

7th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival

The 7th AYE Carnival themed “RISE STRONGER TOGETHER” calls for businesses and young entrepreneur to overcome the disruptions brought by COVID-19 through digitalization, leadership, collaboration and inclusive involvement of women in addressing the grand challenges of our times as we adapt to this new normal.

The 7th AYE Carnival will be hosted physically in Phnom Penh, Cambodia by the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia as the AYEC Chair 2022 in partnership with Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Cambodia and ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN -BAC) Cambodia. Hosted on 12th and 13th November, the Carnival was held following the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, ASEAN Business Award 2022's Award Night, and in parallel with the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summit, Cambodia Tech Expo 2022, and in celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022.

It gathered around 30 Speakers and Moderators from both public and private sector and welcoming more than 400 local and international delegates (mostly entrepreneurs). The entire program featured special remarks, 2 keynote addresses, 3 panel discussion, a talk show, 3 receptions, and award handover ceremony.

AYE Carnival is a gathering of young entrepreneurs from AYEC association members and its Dialogue Partners. The Carnival has been annually organized since 2016:

MESSAGE FROM YEAC

Happy New Year 2022! The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) has a great pleasure to assume the rotating chairmanship of ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council (AYEC) and host ASEAN  a great pleasure to Young Entrepreneur Carnival 2022 (AYE Carnival 2022). Going forward, we will host THREE AYEC Meetings followed by AYE Carnival with the following schedules:

 1st AYEC Meeting: 28 January 2022 (Virtual)
 2nd AYEC Meeting: April 2022 (Physical)
 3rd AYEC Meeting: August 2022 (Virtual)
 AYE Carnival Phnom Phnom Penh 2022: November 2022 under the theme “RISE STRONGER TOGETHER” (Physical)

During the council meetings, there will be side events namely:
